SKELA. Capacity and Technologies.

SKELA factory for steel structures is located on Faur industrial platform in Bucharest, currently covering, after repeated extensions, over 7,000 square meters.

Continuous investments in high productivity equipments delivered the expected results: if, in 2001, when we started, the production facility had a capacity of 125 tons per month, we have today reached an annual production capacity of approximately 5,000 tons of welded steel structures and approximately 2,000 tons of galvanized profiles.

We are using leading-edge software, to carefully control the production process.

Technologies: automatic sandblasting with recirculation, drilling and cutting sections and sheets using numerically controlled machines, semiautomatic inert gas welding, airless painting, cold bending and continuous forming, turning, milling with CNC-controlled machines.

The welds we make are permanently controlled in our lab by non-destructive methods, ultrasonic methods or with penetrating liquids and magnetic powders. For welding activity, we are certified according to the most rigorous standards in the field: ISO3834-2 (European Certificate for Welding, Joining and Cutting), DIN 18800-7 lit. E (SLV Munchen) and EN 1090 execution class EXC3.

We have also implemented a QEHS Integrated Management System acc. to the European Standards SR EN ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and SR EN ISO 9001.

We are permanently investing in our management team and in the employees’ training. In this regard, we benefit from very well trained human resources thus being able to carry out projects no matter where in our country or abroad, fully taking responsibility for our agreements and always meeting the deadlines.
