The Rebirth of a Symbol: Skela Industries Contributes to the Modernization of Favorit Cinema

Skela Industries proudly participated in the consolidation, extension, and modernization project of the Favorit Cinema in Bucharest’s Sector 6. We supplied the complex steel structure that underpins the transformation of this cultural landmark into a modern space, tailored to the community’s needs.

We handled the fabrication, delivery, and on-site installation of the structural steel for the Favorit Cinema. The project involved a quantity of approximately 937 tons of steel and was notable for its technical complexity, featuring cross-section welded columns and beams, including curved elements that defined the building’s new architecture. This project showcases our expertise in complex rehabilitations and the execution of structures with non-standard geometries.
