Renovatio Trading completed the first 1MW photovoltaic project in Romania, installed at Singureni in collaboration with Skela Industries. This solar energy system, built on a 5-hectare area, was fully designed, manufactured, and installed by Skela Industries, marking a significant step forward for Romania’s renewable energy sector.

The project includes a 1MWp photovoltaic system made up of 4176 solar panels, each with a capacity of 240 Wp. The solar plant is expected to generate 1,300 MWh of electricity per year, contributing significantly to reducing carbon emissions and promoting green energy usage.

The work involved the design, fabrication, and on-site installation of the support structure for the photovoltaic panels, ensuring a durable and efficient implementation.

The project began in May 2010 and was completed in December 2010, with the main challenges being adapting the structure to the terrain conditions and optimizing energy efficiency in a variable climate.
